The Kennesaw State University Campus Greens will be screening
John Pilger's documentary "Palestine is Still the Issue."
In this in-depth documentary, John Pilger asks why the
Palestinians, whose right of return was affirmed by the
United Nations more than half a century ago, are still
caught in a terrible limbo -- refugees in their own land,
controlled by Israel in the longest military occupation in
modern times.
After the short documentary, we will hear
from two experts and activists for Palestinian peace and
justice, Dr. Hassan El-Najjar (of Dalton State College
and webmaster of http://www.aljazeerah.info) and Dr. Jesse Benjamin
(of Kennesaw State University). Expect vibrant discussion,
enlightening commentary, and light refreshments.
This event is FREE and will occur on campus in Science
Building 213.
