As you may know, October 5 will be a national day of resistance to the Bush regime. Last year, World Can't Wait: Drive Out the Bush Regime mobilized millions across the country to resist the imperialism, occupation, theocracy, sexism, racism, and nepotism emblematic of this administration. What will we do to join them this year?
I'm trying to secure some Iraqi Veterans Against the War and Veterans for Peace to speak on campus. There have been talks of an organized walk-out.
What else should be planned? What will you contribute to the planning process?
In times like these, apathy is indistinguishable from approval. Even if you don't help with this, please do something. Nothing will change if people do not mobilize and mobilize fast.
